RESPONSIBILITIES

Area

Key Activities

Business Development & Sales

·     Identify, pursue, and convert industrial and commercial customers from alternate fuels to LPG.

·     Expand business segments across assigned territories in a time-bound and efficient manner.

·     Plan and execute impactful sales campaigns, promotional activities, and customer engagement programs.

·     Achieve monthly/annual sales targets while ensuring profitable growth and customer retention.

·     Undertake customer visits, both existing and prospective based on directives from the Reporting Office at IPPL Head Office.

Customer Relationship & Market Intelligence

·     Maintain strong, direct engagement with all customers, dealers, and institutional clients to build loyalty, satisfaction, and brand advocacy.

·     Conduct regular site visits, safety inspections, and technical audits to ensure compliance with company and statutory standards.

·     Capture and report competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer feedback monthly to inform strategic decisions.

·     Serve as the key liaison between customers, transporters, and HO/Terminal teams for seamless service delivery.

Operational Excellence & Safety

 

·     Coordinate with bottling plants, BDAs, and transporters to ensure uninterrupted and timely supplies.

·     Conduct regular facility inspections, promote best practices in LPG handling, and provide technical support to ensure safety and reliability.

·     Assist customers in case of operational breakdowns and coordinate with AMC contractors for timely resolution.

·     Ensure strict adherence to all safety norms, PESO regulations, and company policies.

·     Conduct comprehensive safety inspections in strict adherence to the standardized format mandated by IPPL Head Office.

Financial Discipline & Compliance

·     Drive timely collection of customer payments in line with contractual terms and company credit policy.

·     Support implementation of SAP and digital tools for transparent reporting, billing, and tracking.

·     Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company-specific standards.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of LPG standards acts and petrochemical plant operations Knowledge of oil & gas markets applications and product dynamics Proficiency in SAP and analytical tools for sales forecasting reporting and performance analysis Strong troubleshooting and technical advisory capability for LPG installations Must possess valid 2-wheeler / 4-wheeler driving license Strong leadership negotiation and interpersonal skills Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust with customers and authorities Excellent communication and presentation skills High ethical standards professional integrity and customer-centric mindset Self-driven results-oriented and able to work independently in a competitive market environment
