Roles and Responsibilites
- Growth of Packed Cylinders Business for 21 Kgs, 33 Kgs and 425 Kgs in allocated areas.
- Monthly Market Survey within 30 Kms of Location of Posting to ensure desirable growth on sustained basis.
- Sales promotional activities under guidance of Controlling Officer and submit schemes.
- Identification of Potential Businessman and capable of Setting IPPL ‘propel’ Distributorship and motivate them for applying to IPPL, HO.
- Generate Monthly Market Intelligence data for Packed Commercial Cylinders of both PSU(s) and Parallel Marketing Companies.
- Liaison with attached LPG Bottling Plant and other loading locations to ensure no dry outs.
- Coordinate for early completion of LPG Godowns of LOA holders.
- Should be capable of Driving 2 Wheelers required for field visits.
- Liaising for Packed LPG Cylinder Transportation from IPPL Bottling Plant to strategic locations/customer premises.
- Conversion to LPG form other fuels after convincing the customer with positive result.
- Assist the industrial customers to build infrastructures as per BIS for less 8 MT 425 Kgs Cylinders Balance and CCOE/PESO requirements for Bulk.
- Convince the commercial customers about the product with technical assistance for increasing 425 Kgs Propel Cylinders in their respective Areas. After sales service, including periodical inspection and reconciliation of equipment.
- Safety Inspection of Distributor Godown as format by IPPL HO and Construction Monitoring of New LPG Godowns as per advice of IPPL Management.
- Maintain the supply chain of packed LPG cylinder to ensure growth with Nil Accidents and No Dry outs.
- Distributors and Customers Monthly accounts reconciliation.
- Maintaining inventory of cylinders of the Distributors allocated.
- Note: The engagement of the Field Sales Officer will be on a Fixed Term Basis with 3 Month Probation Period and then confirmed for a period of Two year, which is further extendable to maximum 4 Years (another Tenure), subject to the Company’s requirements and the performance of the incumbent from the date of the engagement. After 2 years, they may be considered for absorption in direct payroll of IPPL, subject to the business requirement and satisfactory performance.
