Become an ALDS Dealer

IPPL offers new dealerships for interested applicants who wish to set up Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS) as per international standards and conforming to all requirements of the statutory authorities. Our ALDS offers the best-in-class service levels and quality LPG. To become a part of the fast-expanding network of IPPL, please note the following requirements:

Location

  • The location of the site would be a key determining factor for setting up an Auto LPG Dispensing Station.

Site area

  • The site for the proposed ALDS should ideally be 625 Sqm (25M×25M), i.e., frontage/width of 25 meter and a depth of 25 meter.

Land ownership

  • Applicant (s) should have land by means of ownership, long term lease in the name of self or family member (s) or have the firm offer from the landowner (s) for purchase or long-term lease to the applicant/IPPL for putting up Auto LPG Station. In case of long-term lease, the Lease agreement should have a provision to sub-lease the land.
  • The land owned by the family member(s) will also be considered as belonging to the applicant subject to producing the consent letter in the form of affidavit from the concerned family member(s) in case of individual applicants.
  • For Dealer owned sites, the land should be in the name of applicant by means of registered sale deed or lease deed (for a minimum period as specified by IPPL) before issuance of Letter of appointment.

Eligibility

  • The applicant may be of any gender, caste, or creed and a citizen of India. The applicant should be qualified with a minimum 10th standard from any Board/School. The applicant should be aged between 21 years to 65 years on the date of appointment.
  • Non-individual entity applicant means Government Bodies/Agencies, Societies registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 / Societies registered under Co- operative Societies Act, 1912 or Co-operative Societies Act as enacted by concerned States, Charitable Trusts registered with Charity Commissioner of respective State Government, Companies formed under the Companies Act, 1956 / 2013, including Pvt. Ltd. companies shall also be eligible for grant of dealership. The entity should be registered in India.
  • The applicant/entity should be financially sound to make an initial investment (CAPEX) and organize working capital of Rs. 40 Lacs cash balance in any form (in savings account, deposits, NSC, Bonds, Mutual Funds, etc., on the date of application) and furnish interest-free Security Deposit of Rs. 10 Lacs to IPPL.
  • In case of a partnership firm, each partner should individually meet the eligibility criteria except land and finance.

Application process

Filled-up application to be sent to the address of the Head Office along with the photocopies of the land documents. The site visit will be done by the sales personnel of IPPL along with the technical team for ascertaining the eligibility criteria and for technical evaluation of the proposed site. The shortlisted applicant should appear before the selection panel at Head Office for evaluation. Selected applicants will be issued with a Letter of Intent for new dealerships subject to fulfilling all the requirements of the company.
